TERRAX company history


Expansion of the TERRAX Fashion range with the brand "Baumfuchs". The brand is all about "nature" and adds this highly topical theme to the TERRAX product portfolio. The brand includes products that feel at home in nature through their appearance and function.

Addition of the "Leitfeuer" brand to the brand portfolio. The brand stands for maritime design in cool colour combinations and with prints influenced by the sea.




Introduction of "TERRAX Workwear" as a brand. This is the first time in the history of the company that TERRAX produces clothing under its own brand name.

The TERRAX Workwear brand is a specialist trade brand and convinces with its fresh sporty design and great functions.



The product range was extended by a knitwear and warp knit collection. The new sportswear jacket collection "RiverCreek", which was developed exclusively for the specialist trade, was also launched.



The planned extension of the hall area by 3000 sqm was realized in July 2012.



Even the warehouse expansion from 2007 was not sufficient for the steadily increasing sales. A volume of 3 million parts has now been achieved, making the further leasing of external storage space absolutely necessary, so that 18,000 square metres are now available.

An extension of the existing hall area by 3000 sqm is planned for 2012, as well as the extension of the office building from currently 400 sqm to 800 sqm.


The steadily increasing sales figures in the past required the expansion of the storage capacity, which resulted in the relocation of the warehouse to the Barbarastraße business park in Dorsten on a total area of approx. 6,000 sqm. This extension enables the domestic and foreign expansion into the European market. Further countries also outside Europe are planned for distribution.



In July 2006, the company moved into a new administration building in Dorsten-Lembeck with 16 permanent employees. The field of activity in the fashion trade influences the collection of the professional retail trade. For the first time workwear with different possibilities is created as a complete outfit. Further innovative ideas are already in preparation.



The rapid growth of the company requires a larger warehouse in 2003, initially with a location in Marl.



The field of activity is extended by collections for the fashion trade in menswear, womenswear and childrenswear. Today, the customer base includes all associations strong in the market, large fashion houses, menswear suppliers and many well-known companies with private labels.



Johannes Neisemeier junior, son of the company founder, joins the company as managing director and develops HTR - Terrax GmbH into a highly respected partner of the professional trade.



After the early death of the company founder in 1978, the company is continued by his wife Gisela and the authorized signatory, Mr. Jürgen Rybaczyk. Both have meanwhile left the company.


On 1.4.1969 Johannes Neisemeier sen. founded the company with the company name: HTR (Handelsagentur - Terrax - Rhade) with the distribution of workwear for the specialized trade.
