This year, TERRAX Außenhandels-GmbH took part in the B2Run in Gelsenkirchen with a team for the first time. For this purpose, the company has been practicing diligently in running groups for a year now, as for each finisher of the run, the managing director Johannes Neisemeier donates 50.00 Euros to a good cause.
"For my birthday last year, my employees gave me the gift of participating in the B2Run with the promise that we would train together and take part in the B2Run so that we could all get up from our office chairs a little more often and get fitter.
Besides this aspect, it was important to me that others also benefit from our commitment. Our company comes from the region and has existed here for 50 years, so I decided that for every runner who crosses the finish line, 50.00 euros will be donated to a charitable organization in the region to give something back. So Johannes Neisemeier, managing director of TERRAX Außenhandels-GmbH.
Together the team decided that the amount that the 19 runners generate will be donated to Aktion Lichtblicke e.V., which has been supporting children, young people and families in need throughout North Rhine-Westphalia since 1998.
In total, all 19 team members mastered the 5.4 km distance with bravura and thus collected the proud sum of 950 Euros.
Yesterday it was handed over to Lichtblicke e.V. in the editorial office of Radio Vest by Mr. Johannes Neisemeier, Managing Director at TERRAX, and Helena Zagray, Coordinator E-Commerce & Marketing at TERRAX, representing the entire team.
