  • Right to data portability: If the requirements of Art. 20 (1) of the GDPR have been met, you have the right to have data which we process automatically based on your consent or in fulfilling a contract handed over to you or to third parties. The collection of data for providing the website and storing data in log files is mandatory to operate the website. They are therefore not based on consent under Art. 6 lit. a of the GDPR or on a contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) lit. b of the GDPR but rather are justified under Art. 6 (1) lit. f of the GDPR. Purposes of data processing by the data controller and third parties

We collect and process your personal data only for the purposes described in our Privacy Policy. Transmission of your personal data to third parties outside of the purposes mentioned here does not take place, unless:

  • You have given us your express permission to do so,
  • This is necessary to process a contract with you,
  • This is necessary for a legal obligation to be fulfilled, or

Deletion or blocking of data

  • Are there other recipients of the personal data in addition to the person responsible? The website is hosted by ratiokontakt GmbH, Biegenhofstr. 13, 96103 Hallstadt, Germany. The hoster receives the above data in their role as a processor.
  • How long are the data stored? The data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected. When making the website available, this is the case when the respective session has ended. The log files are kept for a maximum of 24 hours directly and are exclusively accessible for administrators. After that, they are only indirectly available via the reconstruction of backup tapes and are finally deleted after a maximum of 4 weeks.

The processing of your personal data is derived from our legitimate interest in the aforementioned purposes of data collection. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about your person. 2. Collection of customer data as part of our business relationship


We process the following personal data if there is a contractual relationship between you and us or if you have transmitted the data to us otherwise:

  • Contract master data (contract relationship, contract interest)
  • Billing and payment data
  • Storage period: according to legal retention obligation

If we provide services for which you are liable to pay costs, we request data, such as payment details, in order to be able to execute your order. We store this data in our systems until the legal retention periods have expired.

Information for processing purposes and on the legal basis We collect this data for the purpose of fulfilling the contract, expanding the business relationship and/or providing appropriate advice and information on our company’s products by post, telephone or email. However, they are also necessary

and required for this purpose. The legal basis derives from the GDPR Art. 6 (1) lit. a (consent), lit. b (performance of contract) and lit. f (legitimate interest).

3. Handling of application documents

Application documents will be kept after the legal retention period. Personal application data will be deleted after 3 to 6 months after completion of the application process. This does not apply if statutory provisions or the voluntary consent of the person concerned prevent deletion. Please note that the transmission of your application documents in a normal email is not encrypted and therefore insecure. However, you can send your email attachment as an encrypted PDF file. Alternatively, of course, you can also use the postal route – this is the safest method (mailing in, etc.).
